RNLI and ASA have joined forces to give children free swim safe lessons at coastal and open water locations across the UK.
Whether by the sea, river or lake, the skills involved in keeping safe in open water are different to those in an indoor pool, and Swim Safe helps to ensure children learn those vital skills.
Swim Safe is an annual programme of outdoor swimming and water safety sessions for all 7–14 year-olds at beaches and lakes across UK locations, with beach safety advice provided by qualified lifeguards, and up to 30 minutes in-water tuition with ASA-accredited swimming teachers.
Free Swim Safe lessons take part in the following locations: Cornwall, Cumbria, Devon, Dorset, Isle of Man, Jersey, North Wales, North Yorkshire, Tyne & Wear, South Wales, South Yorkshire. Book your session now to help keep your kids safe this summer.
