Freebiers Club UK came into existence in late December 2001, taking over from All Free UK, with a new design and format - solely based on the input and feedback of over 1,000 of its members.
The new Freebiers Club UK was praised for it's innovation, and more so for the fact that we listened to what was wanted and made a very much needed change in design.
One thing that didn't change though was the ethos that All Free UK established - that is now copied by nearly all the freebie sites in the UK. These standards are in brief:
  1. No American Freebies or Freebies from outside of Europe.
  2. No Religious Freebies or Advertising Junk.
  3. No Trial or Shareware Software - only Freeware listed.
  4. No Freebies from a website that looks unprofessional shall be listed.
  5. Only Freebies of good quality shall be listed - more so if they have been received.
In addition to the quality of freebies we bring, the website is also the only one of the entire freebie world that rewards it's members for every freebie they submit, that is accepted for listing. To date over 15 members have been rewarded with a chart cd of their choice, and a total of over 400 points have been rewarded, worth a shocking £400!!
Not one to stop with an array of firsts - Freebiers Club UK was also the first, and still the only to have it's very own program that sits on a users desktop, updating them with all the latest freebies as and when they arrive.
Freebiers Club UK has grown from strength to strength all the way through 2002, making it one of the fastest growing freebie sites in the UK, and 2nd place when it comes to size - only being outranked by Free UK Stuff who have been around 2 years longer.
However, while 2002 was an excellent year, 2003 will be even better! With a new design, and massive changes to our .community services, the Freebiers Club UK will become the daily home for the hardcore freebie hunter and the casual browser alike.

Over 65,000 people have joined Freebiers Club UK since it started.
There were over 1.2 Million visits to the site, and over 3 Million page views during 2002!
Membership grew by a staggering 45,000 during 2002!!

Freebiers Club UK has featured in many publications and websites, most notably was it's appearance on the ITV show The Web Review, where it received acclaim and a score of 8/10. More recent press attention came from the Leicester Mercury who also had nothing but good words for the site!

Freebiers Club UK is run by 3 dedicated people.

Kevin is the webmaster and manages the site, also acting as chief editor, and helps to find freebies during those quiet moments!
Juliet is the site editor, she is responsible for maintaining daily additions to the sites, and works relentlessly to maintain standards.
Simon is the assistant editor. His main job is to track down and report bad and suspect links, and to keep the site clean, tidy and readable!
